Apartment Review for Villages Of Baymeadows - Jacksonville, FL

When my husband and I looked at this apt we were completely won over by the leasing agents. They were SO nice and helpful... needless to say they didnt tell us we would never deal with them again after that. Once you move in you deal completely with resident relations instead and they are all horrible mean people. The first month we moved in, our downstairs bathroom sewage backed up 3 times flooding our kitchen and dining room. by the third time, it took them 3 weeks to have someone out to sanitize it. About 6 months later, a pipe in the dining room wall downstairs burst and flood our entire first floor. they immediately came to repair it but it took them two weeks (which was ok) but they pulled up three pieces of tile and wouldnt replace it until i called 4 times. one time i even had to call and threaten to put my rent money in an escoro account if they wouldnt come get the rat out of my apt. they also gave us a lease violation because we were in a rush and set our trash next to the valet trash bin instead of inside it.... weve been in our apt for two years and have spent WAY too much money on it! the prices are ridiculous and not worth it. we recently signed our notice to vacate for the end of our lease and they told us were required to get our carpets professionally cleaned and give them a receipt to prove it before we leave or we'll get charged $150. I have NEVER heard of an apt doing that, and I used to work in leasing offices for apartments. This place is a complete joke. If you want to be happy... even semi happy DO NOT move here!!
