Apartment Review for Villages Of Baymeadows - Jacksonville, FL

The appearance of Villages of Baymeadows is a nice, neat, quiet neighborhood. All the renovations have purely been appearance upgrades only. No plumbing, wiring, insulation... nothing that would make the real difference. It looks great at first, but the carpet is cheap, it wears down within 6 months. My air conditioning broke and leaked in the hallway soaking the apartment below me. Maintenance tried to fix the leak several times, but couldn't. Needless to say, they finally had to give in and hire an outside source to fix it. It took over two weeks and I had to deal with the wet carpet and mess.

The office people are nice. They try very hard to make you feel reassured when there is no water for hours on end. Which happened 6 times during my one year stay there due to water mains breaking.

Unfortunetly, I ended up with a neighbor in my building that was racist (didn't like black people)... and made alot of complaints to the office. The office said they had no choice but to evict me and my family, and wouldn't hear my side of the story. So, I guess the ones that complains the most wins. You have no tenant rights!
