Apartment Review for Thornton Park - Jacksonville, FL

I am compelled to respond to the “Gated W/ No Security” rant from August 8th. I have lived at Thornton Park for the last two years and the security for the property is GREAT! On the night this person wrote about staff hanging up on him. I was directly involved with the after math of the event this person references. I know for 100% not only did office staff respond to his problem, but the manager herself was 100% involved and was the person who on a Saturday night at 9:00 pm took care of his problem. Then before returning to her home, the manager of Thornton Park took time to talk with the resident about the issue and apologized to him for his problems. Now I’m not sure about the other 100’s of communities in Jacksonville, but I can say one thing about Thornton Park, the office staff care about their residents. I would be interested to see if there are any properties, in Jacksonville, where the property manager/ office staff not only go above and beyond to help the residents, but from what I see they enjoy doing it, not matter the time of night or day of the week. GREAT STAFF! I think you’re the same person that wrote the last negative review about the complex. If you have such a problem living here, at Thornton Park, why don’t you just move, hell City Gate is offering HUGE move in deals and there just across the street? Why take time to write negative comments about staff members and security that have and continue to bend over backwards to help ALL the residents? I've been without a job for the last year and spend time looking EVERYDAY searching for that one opportunity that one chance to work and than I read BS like this about the place I live. Things that I, I know personally aren’t true.
