Apartment Review for Thornton Park - Jacksonville, FL

At first glance, Thornton Park looks nice and looks like a descent place to live, but don't let looks deceive you!!! Office staff is horrible, they are nasty, never return calls, and really don't care about the residents. The apartments, even thought are brand new suck!!!! Dishwasher doesn't work, doors and blinds are falling off, carpet is coming up, and the walls ARE PAPER THIN! We can hear everything that goes on above us, and all around us! We've complained about our fat upstairs neighbor being so loud that our lights on the ceiling shake (no joke) and the apartment staff didn't do anything about it. The front gates are never working, which is why we've had several car break in's and there was even an apartment broken in to. It sucks having to go to sleep at night worried that your car or apartment is going to be broken into. Can't used the basketball court because the brothers are always using it, and there are more people using the amenities that don't live here than the actual residents. Thornton will take any opportunity to take all of your money. Don't walk in the grass, cuz their is dog poop everywhere!!!!! We cannot wait to move out and have nothing nice to say about Thornton Park. The apartments are way too expensive to deal with all of this, so don't move here!!!!!
