Apartment Review for San Marco Properties - Jacksonville, FL

I rented a place through them and it was nothing but one big headache. Upon moving out, they claimed I owed them almost five hundred dollars in "cleaning costs". This was fraudulent. The apartment was cleaner when I left, then when I moved in. It was not until I demanded a written detailed assessment of the so called "required cleaning". They could not provide me with one or even tell who did the cleaning. After threatening to report them for consumer fraud to the Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau, they recanted there claims and dropped it. Beware, they are con artists. They will try to get you for everything they can.
